Mawaheb
Project Overview:
The “Mawaheb” project involves organizing a series of sports competitions and tournaments for all youth aged 13-17 to discover talented athletes among them. This will be done in collaboration with relevant sports federations, educational institutions (both school and university), the Ministry of Education, and all related sports entities. The project will use new mechanisms for talent identification and expand the scope of competitive sports to include seven sports disciplines: athletics, swimming, archery, judo, taekwondo, badminton, and fencing.
Target Groups:
- 1Youth aged 13-17 years.
Expected Impact:
- 1an increase of 1,500 in the number of identified sports talents.
