The Ministry of Sports commences the evaluation procedures of the sports facilities

The Ministry of Sports has started moving to inspect sports facilities in compliance with the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai to preserve the security and safety of its children. the Ministry of Sports coordinated with the competent authorities to form the task forces in this regard.
Said Abdul Ghaffar Hussein, Secretary General of the Ministry of Sports, said that the Ministry of Sports started to work directly in accordance with the directives of His Highness Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, as this is a direct mandate to move and implement all safety and security standards.
He stressed that the Ministry of Sports will not hesitate to take all measures in this matter to preserve the lives of athletes and the safety of our children and to avoid repeating what happened.
Abdul Ghaffar said that the team entrusted by the Ministry of Sports are in meetings and continuous visits began since the high guidance .. these teams visited the stadiums of the Emirates Football Federation this morning to check the circumstances of the incident and clarify on the lack of provision and application of maintenance and security and safety standards in the federation facilities.
The team, led by the Secretary General, also went to Rashid Hospital in Dubai to visit the player Ahmed Rabie and check on him.
