Sports Entities Any non-governmental sports entity registered with the Ministry or licensed by the relevant authorities, operating within the sports sector, including federations, associations, clubs, companies, and sports institutions.
Registered Sports Entities A sports entity becomes eligible for registration upon issuance of a decision by the Ministry, in compliance with the prevailing legislation in the country. This includes federations, associations, and sports clubs.
General Assembly The General Assembly of sports entities convenes whenever its regulations mandate the presence of general assemblies composed of members meeting the stipulated membership requirements, as determined by the executive regulations of this decree law.
Board of Directors The Board of Directors of a sports entity is responsible for managing and administering its affairs in accordance with the entity's bylaws.
Professional Engaging in sports activities under a contract, along with related management responsibilities to achieve financial returns, is considered an essential and professional endeavor for the individuals involved.
Sports Federation A sports entity, registered with the Ministry, assumes responsibility for managing one or more sports activities.
Sports Clubs A sports entity, registered with the Ministry, is exclusively dedicated to practicing one or more sports and is affiliated with one of the sports federations registered with the Ministry.
Sports League A sports entity established by sports federations and registered with the Ministry, focuses on sports activity or professional sports affairs. This may include leagues for players, referees, coaches, and sports clubs.
Open Data It comprises a collection of reports, statistics, and other data provided by the Ministry, enabling website visitors to view and download this information in various formats.
Smart Government An initiative initiated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, aimed at providing round-the-clock services to the public, regardless of their location.
