The Ministry of Sports continues its preparations for the National Day celebrations

The National Sports Committee of the Ministry of Sports, headed by Khalid Isa Al Midfa, the Assistant Secretary General, continues to prepare for the occasion of the 46th National Day of the United Arab Emirates, which falls on the 2nd of December each year, through its headquarters in Dubai and its centers and offices and associates with a wide participation from the sport sector.

Khalid Isa Al Midfa stressed that the Ministry of Sports is keen to celebrate this occasion, which is a special opportunity to show the feelings of joy and pride in the progress and development of the UAE. He pointed out that the Committee had started preparations for this occasion from an early date and focused during its meetings that the level of these Celebrations should be at a level that is parallel to the importance of the event with a variety of national clauses, in order to enhance the values of loyalty and belonging.

Among the most prominent activities that will be held is the walking march in front of the Ministry’s building, folk songs and poetry sessions, and the heritage area that will embody UAE hospitality by offering a range of popular cuisine.

Al Midfa praised the efforts of the members of the Ministry and the various departments in it through the activities of the Flag Day and the success which accompanied the celebration held in front of the headquarters of the Ministry in Dubai with the participation of all employees.
